Sad News

Escort called me Saturday morning with some extremely sad news. One of friends from high school had passed away around 1 a.m. I feel really bad for Escort's group of friends, this is the third friend that has died since May 2007.

I knew of this guy in high school, but didn't get to know him until after I graduated. He and my boyfriend at the time were really good friends. He came to my house a lot, the three of us would go to Fitzgerald's to watch live shows, and that boyfriend & I went and spent time with his family on holidays. I really enjoyed being around him, he had a quick wit and very sarcastic personality. Unfortunately; when that boyfriend and I broke up, like when most relationships end, the ex-boyfriend got custody of this particular friend.

When Escort & I got back in touch, I had the opportunity to hang out with him a couple of times and his personality hadn't changed one bit. I really wish I would have had the chance to hang out, BS and have one last beer with him.
